Position 1: Lecturer in Chinese Studies
The Lecturer in Chinese Studies will make a substantial contribution to the School’s undergraduate streams in Chinese Studies, especially through teaching Chinese language courses and undertaking related administrative tasks such as managing the placement of students into appropriate language courses. The applicant should have the ability to teach courses on Chinese-English / English-Chinese translation and interpreting and may also contribute to our numerous offerings on Chinese culture and society.

Position 2: Senior Lecturer/Associate Professor in Chinese Studies
The Senior Lecturer/Associate Professor in Chinese Studies will make a substantial contribution to teaching in the School’s undergraduate streams in Chinese Studies, including both Chinese language courses and courses on Chinese culture and society. The Senior Lecturer/Associate Professor may also contribute to teaching in Asian Studies and other cognate streams. The Senior Lecturer/Associate Professor will also make a substantial contribution to research and supervision in Chinese Studies and to academic administration, leadership, and engagement as appropriate to the level of appointment.
