This year the forum is taking place in Baoshan, Yunnan. The event is being generously supported by the Baoshan Government, the Asian Development Bank, The University of Western Australia, and Sea to Summit.

Those interested in issues surrounding the development of ecotourism in China (environment and culture, conservation, community development, gender and politics, etc) are welcome to attend. The event also includes a site visit to a section of the Southern Silk Road over the Gaoligong Mountain Nature Reserve, which may serve as a pilot project site for China’s first designated hiking trail.
